Diving is one of my favorite luxuries in life, next to walking in the park with my dogs, while eating street foods on the side. My favorite diving spots are in Batangas, Cebu and Davao. Diving is a very rewarding activity. You get to see the world underwater, play with schools of fish and see things you don't usually see everyday. The only problem with diving is that you have to travel long hours to get to these spots, and you also have to consider the time and the season. It's never good diving while there's rain, the water's very unpredictable and it might too blurry for you to enjoy the dive. But if you're looking for a year-round underwater experience, there's one you can enjoy. And you don't have to travel for hours. All you have to do is visit the Manila Ocean Park located at the back of the Quirino Grandstand in One Rizal Park, Manila. There they have this optional package for curious tourists, the Aquanaut Adventure. With a wet suit and a 35-kilogram helmet that continuously pumps in oxygen, you can walk the aquarium's floor along with thousand species of fish, including the gigantic manta ray. No worries for the helmet, you won't feel the weight when you're submerged. The Aquanaut is not the same as diving, but it was very much like it, only you're not swimming nor diving, but walking on the aquarium floor. But it tops diving with the fact that you don't have to swim around to see the vibrant marine life, it's already thriving anywhere you look at. You can talk about...
